In the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, where every coin toss can change the game’s outcome, captains with the best toss win rates have a big advantage. While winning the toss is a 50-50 chance for both teams, some captains seem luckier, winning more tosses than others.
At the top of the list is Pat Cummins, who is leading a team for the first time in the IPL. Cummins has won three out of four tosses in IPL 2024, giving him a high 75% toss win rate. This makes him the luckiest captain when it comes to winning the toss.
Next in line is Faf du Plessis, who captains the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Despite RCB’s desire to win the IPL trophy, du Plessis has managed to win the toss 60% of the time, making him the second luckiest captain in IPL 2024.

As IPL 2024 continues, these captains will try to use their toss-winning abilities to gain important advantages on the field, making the tournament even more competitive.
