Contracts for additional expiry months for Zee Entertainment shall not be issued upon the expiration of current contract months, the NSE stated in a circular on April 16.

The Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.12 percent to 16,257.53 and the S&P 500 declined 1% to 5,147.24 at 9:30 pm IST. Additionally, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped to 38,141.86, or almost 1% less than before.

The NSE announced on Tuesday, April 2, that the lot size for Nifty 50 contracts has been reduced from 50 to 25.

The lot size has been increased for six stocks: Atul, Polycab India, Navin Flourine, Dalmia Bharat, Bandhan Bank, and Zee Entertainment.

The Nifty 50 gained three points to 22,336 on March 12, and the BSE Sensex increased by 165 points to 73,668. On the daily charts, the closing was close to starting levels, forming a Doji candlestick pattern.

The benchmark indices closed at a fresh record closing high on March 7, despite falling from the day's high.
