ACCA-IIM Sirmaur partnership to strengthen global finance education pathways

In a move to advance finance and accountancy education, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deliver globally aligned learning experiences.

The agreement, signed by Prabhanshu Mittal and Prafulla Agnihotri, reflects a shared ambition to empower students with international perspectives and professional competencies.

The collaboration is designed to provide students access to globally recognised qualifications while enhancing faculty expertise and academic delivery standards. It also aims to strengthen industry alignment through structured engagement initiatives.

Under the MoU, both institutions will conduct Train-the-Trainer workshops, organise joint academic events, facilitate student engagement sessions on career pathways, and build platforms for industry-academia collaboration.

The partnership is expected to contribute significantly to the development of future-ready finance professionals equipped with both technical knowledge and global outlook.

On the occasion of the MoU signing Md. Sajid Khan, Director- India at ACCA, said, ‘We are delighted to partner with such a growing and dynamic institution as IIM Sirmaur.
