Avante Spaces Limited, the real estate arm of the Kirloskar Group, has achieved IGBC Platinum Certification for its flagship office development ‘One Avante’ situated in Kothrud, Pune.
The India Green Building Council awarded the Platinum certification, its highest rating, recognising One Avante’s sustainable workplace infrastructure and environmentally responsible design. The project is currently occupied by several Kirloskar Group companies.
The certification evaluation was based on performance across five sustainability parameters — Site Selection and Planning, Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, Material Conservation, and Indoor Environmental Quality and Occupational Health — along with Innovation in Design.
Sustainability has guided the project from conceptualisation to daily operations. One Avante features energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems, enhanced use of natural daylight, water conservation technologies and a comprehensive waste management system designed to promote recycling and resource optimisation. These measures help reduce environmental impact while supporting occupant well-being.
