Now that summer is here, most of us are excited to spend the entire season wearing sundresses and big sunglasses. On the other hand, going outside on a sunny day might cause significant sunburn due to exposure to the sun’s rays.
Sunscreen isn’t always completely effective, even though it can save your skin most of the time. To remove a tan, use these homemade face masks if you have previously been exposed to the sun and have got a tan.
Coconut Milk
Coconut milk nourishes and moisturizes the skin, restoring moisture, while vitamin C and gentle acids aid in removing tans. Pour some fresh, organic coconut milk into a bowl. Put a cotton ball into the milk. Now, gently dab it on the afflicted areas and massage it for a little while. Wash it with a light cleaner.
Gram Flour and Turmeric Mask
Besan, also known as gram flour, has been a part of traditional beauty treatments for generations. Combined with turmeric, it forms an effective mask that safely lightens tan lines. To make a paste, mix two tablespoons of gram flour, a little teaspoon of turmeric and sufficient water. After putting the mixture on your skin, allow it to dry. After it has dried, use gentle circular movements to brush it off. After washing with water, your skin will look fresh.
Oats and Buttermilk Mask
While buttermilk is great for soothing the skin and curing blisters, oatmeal is an incredible exfoliator. In a dish, mix two teaspoons of coarsely crushed oats with three to four tablespoons of buttermilk and apply to tanned areas. Massage gently in a circular manner for 15-20 minutes before washing with cold water.
Cucumber and Lemon Juice Mask
Sliced cucumber cools the skin and heals sunburns; lemon juice serves as a natural bleach. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice to half a sliced cucumber. After applying the mixture to your tanned skin, leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water. This mask moisturizes and revitalizes your skin along with aiding with tan removal.
