10 thrilling K-dramas arriving this October: Spice Up Our Love to Hellbound 2

Fans are in for a treat this month with the addition of ten new shows. These ten K-dramas and TV series are scheduled for premiere in October.

Spice Up Our Love- October 3; TVING

Despite being the second male lead in No Gain No Love, Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun will serve as the drama’s primary lead couple. They’ll be the featured pair in Spice Up Our Love.Han Ji Hyun is going to play the company’s nutritionist, and Lee Sang Yi is going to play the CEO.

My Merry Marriage- October; KBS

This endearing family drama, which speaks to all age groups, examines what happiness means via themes like marriage, divorce, and being single. Reunited with his childhood friend Gu Dan Soo, the free-spirited grandson of Jayce Fashion’s chairman, Maeng Gong Hee, a resilient designer, learns from his grandmother how to become her heir.

Family By Choice- October 7; JTBC

Three teenagers who are not biological relatives but have a strong affinity with one another are the focus of the story. They have been through hardships, tragedies, and family problems together. They help each other out and navigate their school lives together. The narrative is an adaptation of the Chinese drama Go Ahead from 2020.

Parole Examiner Lee- October 7; tvN

As a parole examiner, Lee Han Shin fights rich people who take advantage of the system to impose justice in his own manner. He works with the renowned private lender Choi Hwa Ran to recover missing funds. Justice is complicated by Detective An Seo Yun and haughty chaebol heir Ji Myeong Seob.

Uprising- October 11; Netflix

The story of Uprising takes place in the Joseon era, following a dangerous battle and its aftermath on the populace. The tale revolves around two boyhood pals, one of which is a slave and the other a master. But in the midst of politics and conflict, their innocent friendship becomes sour.

Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard- October 10; TVING

Prosecutor Seo Dong Jae, whose reputation has been damaged by prior corruption, has a dismal future. He treads a thin line between justice and self-interest as he handles the murder case of a high school girl, juggling his prosecutorial duties with his opportunistic impulses.

Doubt- October 11; MBC

The highly anticipated psychological thriller Such A Close Traitor is scheduled for publication in the second part of 2024.The drama centers on a top criminal profiler who, upon learning that his daughter is involved in the case, finds himself in a difficult situation.For this production, Oh Yeon Soo and Han Suk Kyu got back together after a 31-year break. They had collaborated on the drama Son and Daughter in 1993.

A Virtuous Business- October 12; JTBC, Netflix

The narrative takes place in a small community in the 1990s, when talking about sex was frowned upon. A Virtuous Business will center on the lives of women who, in an era when women were supposed to retire early and take care of their family, sell adult products door to door.Kim Do Hyun, an American police officer, will be portrayed by Yeon Woo Jin. He comes from a well-to-do family and is promoted fast because of his intelligence. But he arrives at work in a remote village in an odd way.formerly participated in the drama Son and Daughter from 1993.

Jeong Nyeon: The Star Is Born- October 12; tvN

The 1950s, right after the Korean War, are the setting for Jeong Nyeon. In these hard times, Jeong Nyeong (Kim Tae Ri) and her mother (Moon So Ri) barely scrape by. Jeong Nyeong’s goal is to work as an actor in Seoul, but it doesn’t seem like her ambitions will come true. She once attends a play by a theater group under the direction of Ra Mi Ran, director Kang So Bok.

Hellbound Season 2- October 25; Netflix

The webcomic Hellbound, authored by Yeon Sang Ho and illustrated by Choi Kyu Seok, served as the inspiration for the narrative. Hellbound explores fanciful cults and superstitions. Unidentified creatures appear out of nowhere, and a new, dubious-looking cult is founded. Starting where Season 1 left off, Season 2 will continue. The plot will center on the religious groups the New Truth, the Arrowheads, and the Sodo leader Hyejin as they deal with the fallout from the condemned’s resurrection as they emerge from hell. The battle with the supernatural demons goes on.
