6 unreleased K-dramas which were terminated midway

These are a few K-Dramas that, because of unforeseen circumstances, were essentially canceled.
1. Prometheus
Prometheus was a much awaited K-Drama starring Ha Ji Won and Jin Goo. With a budget of ₩30.0 billion KRW (about $22.3 million USD), a substantial sum for a K-Drama back in 2017, it was hailed as a blockbuster production. But Ha Ji Won soon quit the group as a result of schedule issues brought on by the continual postponement of filming.The broadcasting network that was scheduled to telecast Prometheus, MBC, quickly declared that they would no longer be doing so. Jin Goo made the decision to leave the K-Drama after all of this
2. School 2020
School 2020 starring Kim Yohan and Ahn Seo Hyun was initially scheduled to premiere in August 2020. But when Ahn Seo Hyun’s father began to place unreasonable expectations on the show’s producers, tensions began to build. All of this led to Ahn Seo Hyun’s quick removal from the cast. Kim Sae Ron was subsequently presented with the female lead role by the show’s producers. But KBS quickly made the decision to drop School 2020 from their schedule. Ultimately, School 2020 was renamed as School 2021 and shown on KBS, who reversed their original choice to air the show.
3. Four Sons
A much awaited K-Drama starring Park Hae Jin and Nana was called Four Sons. The production company began making irrational demands and failed to pay employees, which quickly caused issues for the show. Many of the cast members, including Nana, left the show after this. It even reached the point where Four Sons’ production firm was sued by Park Hae Jin.
4. Wolf
Wolf was a 16-episode K-Drama that was canceled after only three episodes. Due to injuries sustained by several cast members, including lead actor Eric, the production was postponed. Wolf was originally scheduled to return to the screen when the cast members healed from their wounds, but the show was canceled due to continuous postponements.
5. Joseon Exorcist
The 2021 K-Drama starred Jang Dong Yoon, Park Sung Hoon, Lee Yu Bi, and Kim Dongjun. It received backlash before it ever aired because lead actors Jang Dong Yoon and Lee Yu Bi suffered injuries during production. Viewers from China and Korea expressed strong disapproval of the show’s historical accuracy after its first two episodes aired. A petition with almost 216,000 signatures was gathered demanding that the show be canceled, and this was eventually done. Prominent sponsors, including LG and Samsung, canceled their support.
