9 upcoming K-dramas set to air in September; check schedule here
The Judge From Hell, Dear Hyeri, Gyeonseong Creature Season 2, and numerous other K-dramas and OTT series and movies will make their premieres in September 2024.
Fans are in for a treat this month with the addition of nine new series. Additionally, viewers can watch shows in a variety of genres, including thrillers, fanfiction, romance-comedies, and much more. The nine K-dramas and TV series that will air in September are listed below.
Seoul Busters- September 11; Disney+
Seoul Busters is the story of a smart, beautiful professor who works outside of South Korea. To everyone’s amazement, he accepts an opportunity to become a professor at a foreign university and instead chooses to work for Songwon Police Station’s Violent Crimes Unit 2 in South Korea. In terms of arrest rates, it is among the least effective squads. The group resolves to become the greatest unit.
The Judge From Hell- September 21; SBS
In The Judge From Hell, a demon disguises herself as an exceptional judge with a chilly demeanor. Her actual role is to damn the guilty to damnation if they don’t examine themselves. She strikes me as a bright, kind detective who also seems to be really hurt. The two meet, and their lives are profoundly altered.
Dear Hyeri- September 23; ENA, Genie TV
The plot of an announcer who has spent the last 14 years in the business is showcased in Dear Hyeri. To make a decent life, though, she also works as a parking assistant and is unknown to the general public. She has a deep-seated hurt that gives rise to her cheerful, effervescent hidden personality. At work, she runs across her ex-boyfriend again.
What Comes After Love- September 27; Coupang Play
The novel by Gon Ji Young and Japanese novelist Tsuji Hitonar served as the basis for the television series.In the film What Comes after Love, Choi Hong, a Korean student studying in Japan, will be the main character. She eventually meets Aoki Jungo, a Japanese man, and the two fall in love and start dating. But they decided to split up because of their disagreements and the realities of life. Five years later, during Aoki Jungo’s business trip to Seoul, the two unintentionally crosses paths.
Dog Knows Everything- September 25; KBS2
The drama centers on an actor who loses his way and seeks solace on an island from critics and detractors. He encounters Sophie, a dog who was once a police dog, on the island. Sophie begins speaking like a human one day.
Gyeongseong Creature Season 2- September 27; Netflix
The second season of Gyeongseong Creature, which will premiere in 2024, will be connected to the events of 1945. The most recent season will see the return of the primary cast from season 1.
Iron Family- KBS
A family of cleaners spanning three generations is the focus of the mystery drama. They stumble into unplanned wealth, which gives them hope for a better future. The story will center on the dynamics of families in contemporary society.
The Queen Woo Part 2- TVING
The first lady to become a queen twice is the subject of the drama. A fight breaks out between five tribes in Goguryeo following the death of King Gogukcheon because they want a new monarch to ascend to the throne within a day so they may use the new monarch to further their own agenda. She weds her younger brother’s spouse to keep her family and tribe safe.
Officer Black Belt- September 13; Netflix
Officer Black Belt will narrate the tale of a probation officer and a martial artist who collaborate to monitor individuals using electronic anklets in an effort to deter crime.
