Amar Kaushik announces vampire-themed film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna
Thamba will be Ayushmann and Rashmika’s debut on-screen partnership, and they have a special storyline planned for the movie that will surprise viewers.
Amar Kaushik is slated to co-produce Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film, which will take place in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, following the enormous success of Stree 2. The creators are getting ready to film a vampire story after introducing a female spirit, a ghost that abducts brides, a werewolf, and a ghost from Konkani folklore! Thamba is reportedly the name of the movie.
Aditya Satpodar, the director of Munjya, and Dinesh Vijan are going to reunite, as reported by Pinkvilla in June.
“Ayushmann Khurrana and Dinesh Vijan have previously worked together on Bala and share a great creative bond. They have been discussing the film for a while now.”
Returning to Amar’s IT interview, the director also provided an update regarding the Bhediya sequel starring Varun Dhawan.
Kaushik added, “The script is not locked yet, but we have written the story, and now we need to develop the screenplay. I am not satisfied with a few parts of the story, so we are currently working on that.”
Although Varun is set to star in Bhediya 2, official word on Kriti Sanon’s onboarding is still pending.
