Ayan Mukerji to direct Dhoom 4 ft Ranbir Kapoor; post War 2? Deets here
Although Ayan Mukerji he has his own film, Brahmastra, to oversee, the director is apparently enthusiastic about the newer projects.
According to a recent report, Ayan Mukerji would direct Dhoom 4, which stars Ranbir Kapoor. Working with Yash Raj Films, the filmmaker is now bracing up for War 2, starring Kiara Advani, Jr. NTR, and Hrithik Roshan. According to reports, Ayan and Kapoor seem to collaborate on another project.
According to reports, Vijay Krishna Acharya, who directed Dhoom 3 and wrote Dhoom 1 and 2 won’t be directing Dhoom 4. As of now, Mukerji is the favorite to helm the sequel.
A Bollywood Hungama report stated, Aditya Chopra has orally stated his ambition to work with Ayan on Dhoom 4, and he is happy with the footage shot for the movie War 2.
He has asked Chopra for a little time, wanting to focus on War 2 first and then talk to Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Jio Studios about the future of Brahmastra before committing to Dhoom 4.
Aditya Chopra is said to have a deep appreciation for the Dhoom franchise and is aware of its significance. He understands the value of the Dhoom franchise and wants to release it at the right time with the right cast and director, even though he is working on a number of spy movies.
Ranbir has recently completed filming the first installment of Sai Pallavi and Nitesh Tiwari’s eagerly awaited Ramayana. Next up, Kapoor will start filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical drama Love and War, which stars Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. It is scheduled to premiere in December 2024. He also has Animal Park by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and a love story with his wife, Alia Bhatt.
