Cannes Film Festival 2024: Indian actors to attend the grand gala
This year, rookies Kiara Advani and Sobhita Dhulipala will be present alongside Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai; Aditi Rao Hydari will also represent the Indian contingent.

Celebrities strolled the red carpet into the opulent Grand Theatre Lumiere on Tuesday night to honor Hollywood icon Meryl Streep, and then they settled up to see this year’s opening film, The Second Act, marking the official start of the Cannes Film Festival 2024.
Listed below are Indian actors who will be seen at the much awaited festival.
Aishwarya Rai
The renowned film festival is returning in 2024, and it is anticipated that the actor would wear a dramatic appearance while walking the red carpet. Aishwarya Rai, a frequent visitor to Cannes, debuted at the festival in 2002 wearing a Neeta Lulla saree and a hefty gold necklace. The actor has virtually always graced the festival since then. She is scheduled to attend the gala once more in her capacity as a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris.
Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi Rao Hydari recently talked about how excited she is to be going to the Cannes Film Festival for the third time in an interview with ANI. “I’m in preparation, leaving for Cannes with L’Oreal very soon. So I’m prepping for the work to be done there for that,” she stated.
In 2022, Aditi made her Cannes debut. She was also at the film festival the previous year. Her first appearance at Cannes in 2023—off the red carpet—was a lovely blue Oscar De La Renta gown that she donned for a photo shoot for L’Oreal. She also donned a yellow gown with ruffles.
Kiara Advani
The actor is excited to attend the Cannes Film Festival for the first time.At the festival, Kiara Advani will represent India at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala dinner, highlighting the country’s expanding importance in the world of film. Vanity Fair will serve as the event’s host in Cannes.
Sobhita Dhulipala
The actor is scheduled to debut at Cannes this year, just like Kiara.As a representative of the ice cream company Magnum India, Sobhita Dhulipala will be present at the Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera.
