Taha Shah Badussha has been loved as the 'National Crush' by his fans across India.

All We Imagine as Light is the first Indian film to win the prize in thirty years, and Kapadia is the first Indian woman director to enter the main competition at Cannes.

In order to finance the film, Costner put in $100 million of his own funds and even mortgaged his ranch.

This year, rookies Kiara Advani and Sobhita Dhulipala will be present alongside Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai; Aditi Rao Hydari will also represent the Indian contingent.

The festival will include sreening of seven Indian films.
