Jung Hae In reveals his rigorous preparation for Snowdrop: ’I’d sleep for two hours and then hit the gym’

Realistic character portrayals is what make Jung Hae In one of the finest. The K-drama idol demonstrated his wide range of acting and painstaking ability to synchronize with every role in D.P., Snowdrop, or the most recent Love Next Door.
He said in a 2022 interview that he went overboard for his difficult role in Snowdrop. With its heart-wrenching tale of a love story between two people from opposing sides, the drama received the greatest ratings both in South Korea and beyond.
Suho, a North Korean spy assigned to a mission in the South, was played by Jung Hae In as featured in the dynamics of the drama. “If I had four hours of sleep, I’d divide it in half. So I’d sleep for two hours and then hit the gym for the remaining two hours before heading to the set”, Jung Hae stated.
Regarding the depth of his training, the actor went on to say that he basically performed every form of martial arts he was aware of, developed a tan, and studied the local vernacular. “I was very hard on myself”, he added.
It goes without saying that his outstandingly talented portrayal of the character that brought him international acclaim demonstrated his rigorous training and the sacrifices he made.
