Horizon: An American Saga, starring Kevin Costner might have received a standing ovation lasting seven minutes on Sunday night at the Cannes Film Festival. However, there were, in reality, a few walkouts earlier in the film.
Still, when others applauded and cried out, “Kevin, Kevin, Kevin,” Costner became upset. He informed the audience that there would be three more installments in the Horizon series, the first of which would debut in August.

Kevin Costner’s emotional address

“I’m sorry you had to clap that long for me to understand that I should speak,” Costner stated in laughter. “Such good people. Such a good moment, not just for me, but for the actors that came with me, for people who believed in me who continued to work. It’s a funny business, and I’m so glad I found it. There’s no place like here. I’ll never forget this — either will my children.”
