Lavanya files chargesheet against ex-boyfriend Raj Tarun for alleged cheating
Lavanya stated that they dated for eleven years and that he made her have an abortion.
Actor Raj Tarun faced accusations after his ex-girlfriend Lavanya filed a complaint, according to a chargesheet filed by the Narsingi police. According to Telangana Today, it was filed after she gave enough proof to back up her claims against her ex-partner.
What does the Chargesheet say?
Lavanya accused Raj of cheating on her while they were married and filed a formal complaint against him in July. Actor Malvi Malhotra, who costarred with Raj in Tiragabadara Saami, allegedly cheated on Lavanya with the former.
The article claims that Lavanya gave the police enough proof, including hospital records attesting to her abortion. Additionally, she gave evidence of his adultery, the publication said. Her complaints appeared to be validated by the police.
In addition, Lavanya stated that she had been married to Raj for a while and that she had been threatened by Malvi and her brother. But in July, the actor refuted these claims, accusing Lavanya of harassment and drug abuse. The Telangana High Court granted him conditional anticipatory bail in August. It is unclear if the bail would be upheld in light of the chargesheet that has been filed against him.
Lavanya opens up on relationship with Raj Tarun
Speaking to TV9 in July, Lavanya stated that she and Raj were hitched, but they hadn’t told their family until three months later. She added that Malvi and her brother’s threats were the reason she filed the FIR at this time.
Lavanya stated, “We are married, our families know it but he’s been trying to be rid of me since last September. We’ve been together for 11 of the 15 years we’ve known each other. I don’t want his money, I knew him before he had any. Malvi won’t admit it, but they’re having an affair. He left me for her. I indeed know a man named Mastan; it’s also true I was imprisoned in a drugs case (in January this year), but it has nothing to do with this.”
