In an unexpected turn, federal agents raided music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ residences amid a flurry of pending lawsuits claiming sexual assault and harassment. Combs has faced several charges, including sexual harassment, drugging and threats, in lawsuits filed by various persons in recent months.

As part of an ongoing investigation, federal agents searched Sean “Diddy” Combs’ houses in Miami and Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, according to a statement from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York.

People was informed by a Homeland Security representative that “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

These actions took place in the midst of two cases involving sex trafficking. According to TMZ, federal agents showed up at Diddy’s Los Angeles residence on Monday afternoon, accompanied by helicopters. Furthermore, Diddy’s sons, Christian “King” Combs, 25, and Justin Combs, 30, were seen in handcuffs outside their Beverly Hills home in a FOX11 video.

“We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct,” said Douglas Wigdor, an attorney representing Cassie and Jane Doe, who have filed lawsuits against Diddy in the past.
