Nora Fatehi issues apology note over her statement on ‘feminism’ back in April

The model-actress had taken up the right fight with the wrong words, supporting the idea of starting a family.

Many weren’t fond of a statement Nora Fatehi made about feminism back in April. In case her previous remarks offended anyone, Nora has now expressed her regret in a recent interview with Mashable India.

During a conversation with BeerBiceps, Nora stated that Men and women are not equal, and also disagrees with the notion that one can exist without the other. “I don’t believe in this shit. In fact, I think, feminism f***** up our society.”

She added, “I think women are nurturers, yes, they should go to work and have their own life and be independent but to a certain extent.”

According to Fatehi, although some refer to it as an antiquated or conventional way of thinking, she believes it to be a normal way of thinking. The actress has, nevertheless, continued to support women’s rights while cautioning that radical feminism poses a threat to society.

Nota Fatehi issues justification

The 32-year-old has now expanded on her previous statement in a new interview with Mashable India, saying that it’s acceptable for Western cultures to promote the idea that “I can do everything by myself.” On the other hand, nuclear families and two-person households should be supported since they can contribute to raising future members of society.

Nora added, “I definitely apologize for making people upset and hurting them, but that was not the intention at all. I don’t want what’s happening in the West to happen in this part of the world because there’s nothing better than upholding traditions and values and morals.”

On the professional front, Nota Fatehi recently starred on Kunal Khemu’s Madgaon Express.
