Fans were thrilled on Sunday when Indian javelin star Neeraj Chopra announced his marriage on social media.
Posting wholesome pictures from the ceremony, he penned, “Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after. Neeraj, Himani.”
According to Chopra’s uncle Bhim, who spoke to news agency PTI, the couple is currently on a honeymoon after getting married in the nation.
“Yes, the marriage took place in India two days back. I can’t tell the place where it took place,” Bhim said while at his village at Khandra, Panipat in Haryana.

Presently, Himani Mor is studying in the United States.
“The girl is from Sonipat and she is studying in the US. They have left the country for honeymoon and I am not aware of the places where they are going. We wanted to keep it like that,” added Bhim
Chopra won his second Olympic medal, a silver one, in Paris a few months before to the wedding. Neeraj placed second on the podium in the final after throwing 89.45 meters on his second try.
Neeraj continued to compete in the Diamond League post that, finishing in second place.
