Rahul Vaidya gets diagnosed with dengue; misses out on Ganesh Chaturthi festivities

Singer Rahul Vaidya, who is well-known for his roles in Bigg Boss 14 and Khatron Ke Khiladi, recently announced on social media that he had been diagnosed with dengue. His intentions to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, a celebration he was eagerly anticipating, have been clouded by the news.

The singer announced the news on his Instagram Stories on Friday. While dealing with a high fever of 104°F, he uploaded a selfie of himself. Later, he posted another update with the comment, “Dengue!”

Typically, Rahul has a five-day ceremony at home to commemorate the occasion.

Rahul has a particular place in his heart for the celebration. He and his wife, actor Disha Parmar, brought their first child, daughter Navya, into their lives last year during the Utsav.

Earlier he spoke to Hindustan Times, stating, “I’m bringing bappa home this time as well, like every year. And this year, it is more special because my baby is also going to arrive around the same time. Disha’s is due to deliver between September 19-25. I’m just hoping everything goes well”.
