Russo Brothers announces fresh project with a terrific ensemble, ft Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt

A preview of the Russo brothers’ newest film, which boasts an impressive cast and an intriguing plot, was recently released. Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will be a part of the film called,  The Electric State. They had previously collaborated on Avengers, Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame projects alongside Anthony and Joe Russo.

Millie Bobby Brown, who also starred in Godzilla vs. King Kong, and Chris Pratt will be seen in the movie The Electric State. Ke Huy Quan, who has credits for Marvel’s Loki and Everything Everywhere All at Once, is also involved in the movie. Other actors include Stanley Tucci from The Hunger Games, Brian Cox from Succession, Jason Alexander, and Jenny Slate.

The movie also stars the renowned artists Giancarlo Esposito and Anthony Mackie.

Regarding the plot, the movie “takes place in a reimagined version of 1997,” according to Comic Book.com. With people secluded behind their virtual reality helmets and engaged in a never-ending conflict with an unusual species of terrifying drones following a technological collapse.

Here, Anthony Mackie plays a robot that Michelle, a teenage girl played by Bobby Brown, travels with in an attempt to locate her brother, who has gone missing. Esposito will portray Colonel Marshall Bradbury, while Ke Huy Quan will portray Dr. Amherst.

The movie under AGBO Studios production is set to release on Netflix in March 2025.
