After three years of marriage, actors Park Se Young (36), and Kwak Jung Wook (34), are expecting their first child. On January 7, the Korean media quoted the good news made by Park Se Young’s agency, CLN Company. They said, “It is true that actress Park Se Young is pregnant. She is due to give birth in June.”
During the filming of the 2012 KBS 2TV drama School 2013, Park Se Young and Kwak Jung Wook connected instantly and eventually fell in love. In February 2022, the actress arriedm Kwak Jung Wook.
Given that the wedding occurred during the difficult pandemic period, it was an intimate affair attended by close friends and relatives. The reporters were keen to cover the wedding, but their agencies pleaded for their privacy.
After the wedding, Park Se Young’s agency also stated that the actress was working on new projects and requested that fans and reporters continues to support her.
The 2011 SBS drama Tomorrow Comes marked Park Se Young’s screen debut in South Korean showbiz. In addition, she starred in dramas such as Mental Coach Jegal (2022), Money Flower (2017–18), My Daughter Geum Sa-wol (2015–16), and Special Labor Supervisor Jo (2019). She has taken a career hiatus since then.
Kwak Jung Wook, her husband, had his stage debut as a child performer in the KBS 2TV drama Color in 1996. Among other plays, he appeared in Flower Band (2012), The Blade and Petal (2013), and Puberty Medley (2013). His performance in Rustic Perios (2002) earned him an SBS drama Best Young Actor award as well. He took a hiatus from his career after School 2013 (2012–2013). The drama features an ensemble that includes Kim Woo Bin, Jang Na Ra, and Lee Jong Suk among others.
