Movie buffs have a plethora of options to choose from, like The Buckingham Murders (starring Kareena Kapoor Khan) and Call Me Bae, Ananya Panday’s first web series.
Just a few days into September 2024, creators have already inundated the public with enough material to keep them occupied for the whole month.
1. Call Me Bae- September 6
The eight-part series centers on Bella (Bae) Chowdhury, who, after leading an opulent life in Delhi, finds herself in financial hardship in Mumbai.
2. Tanaav 2- September 6
Season 2 of the Sudhir Mishra and Sachin Krishn streaming series is coming soon with Niwas directing the follow-up. The Israeli series Fauda is being remade, and Manav Vij, Arbaaz Khan, Gaurav Arora, Arslan Goni, Shashank Arora, Satyadeep Misra, and Amit Gaur will be in starred in the lead.
3. Visfot- September 6
Writers Hussain and Abbas Dalal have written a tale of a family’s claustrophobic life in Mumbai, riddled with corruption and treachery. In Visfot, the stars’ true selves are gradually revealed as they battle to survive in the big metropolis.
4. Kill- September 6
Produced by Apoorva Mehta, Achin Jain, Guneet Monga, and Karan Johar, Kill made its Toronto International Film Festival debut in September 2023. A few months later, on July 5, 2024, it was released in theaters in India. The creators have chosen to release it on OTT tomorrow after observing the favorable reception from the public.
5. The Buckingham Murders- September 13
Fans of Kareena Kapoor Khan have been eagerly awaiting the news that she will be starring in Hansal Mehta’s upcoming thriller, The Buckingham Murders, since it first broke.
6. Sector 36- September 13
In Sector 36, police officer Deepak Dobriyal is tasked with finding the person responsible for the killings, while serial killer Vikrant Massey is prepared to terrorize the city. Funded by Jio Studios and Maddock Films, owned by Dinesh Vijan, the movie is partially based on the 2006 Noida serial killings (Nithari Killings).
7. Berlin- September 20
Berlin, a spy thriller movie, made its international debut at the Los Angeles Indian Film Festival in 2023. Well, everyone will be able to watch it on OTT in the next days. Atul Sabharwal is also the author of a movie about a deaf man who gets caught up in a conspiracy.
8. Adbhut- September 15
Producers claim that the most frightening movie of the year will star Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a spy named Vishal Salgoankar. The audience was captivated by the compelling role of the lead actor and the deep mystery in the Adbhut trailer.
9. Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai- September 15
Actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Richa Chadha choose to take audiences on an entertaining and emotional ride. Even if a lavish party takes an unexpected turn, the audience will undoubtedly chuckle.
10. Yudhra- September 20
Yudhra, directed by Siddhant Chaturvedi, is slated to amuse audiences after he costarred on film with Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. It is written by Shridhar Raghavan and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment. Farhan also contributed to the dialogue.
11. Binny and Family- September 20
With this family drama, director Ssanjay Tripaathy hopes to spark a discussion on generational differences and familial ties. Produced by Wave Band Productions, Mahaveer Jain Films, and Balaji Motion Pictures, it is certain to evoke strong feelings in viewers and provide them with some contemplative moments.
