Stree 2 is officially a blockbuster; effortlessly smashes all records
The film will also look to score an all time record with the highest collections ever in week two as well.

The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-led Stree 2 has gone on a league of its own in the second weekend after earning Rs 292.00 crore in the first week. Preliminary estimates state that the horror comedy helmed by Amar Kaushik brought in Rs 95.50 crore during its second weekend, bringing its 11-day total to Rs 387.50 crore.
Street 2 broke all previous records on the second Saturday and Sunday, collecting an estimated Rs 33.00 crore and Rs 44.00 crore, respectively, following its collection of Rs 18.50 crore on the second Friday. On Monday, the Dinesh Vijan production will break into the Rs 400 crore club. Its goal is to surpass KGF 2’s lifetime receipts by Tuesday in order to start its ascent to the Rs 500 crore club.
Stree 2 is now aiming to emerge an all-time grosser for the Hindi Film Industry by surpassing the collections of Jawan, and if the 11-day trend is anything to go by, the horror comedy is looking at a lifetime total in the vicinity of Rs 575 crore. This also means that Stree 2 will be looking to top the lifetime business of Animal, Bahubali 2, Pathaan and Gadar 2 by the end of fourth week and then embark on the journey towards the total collections of Jawan.
Monday and Tuesday are a partial vacation, which could boost business even further. The second Wednesday will provide an indication of how much fuel Stree 2 has left in its tank. The horror comedy is still running till September 27. There’s a good probability it will achieve a box office figure that won’t be topped for at least a year. The movie is a record-breaking blockbuster that will have the highest return on investment of any film in the Rs 500 crore club.
