Hwang Minhyun is set to play the lead in the upcoming South Korean television series Study Group. New still cuts have been revealed, offering a preview of the show ahead of its much awaited premiere. The series centers on a student who is particularly talented at fighting and aspires to achieve academic excellence.
The production team unveiled new stills of Hwang Minhyun as Yoon Ga Min on January 7, 2024. The photographs depict the severe ambience of Yuseong Vocational High School, showcasing Yoon Ga Min’s dualism and the challenges faced in the fast-paced sphere.
One of them shows Yoon Ga Min, who is motivated by fitness and emphasizes his commitment as a student who works out first thing every day in the hopes of getting better grades. But it appears that his combat abilities, not his academic knowledge, is what really make him strong. In a another picture, he is seen taking off his glasses and facing an adversary head-on with unshakeable resolve, suggesting a more aggressive and confrontational side.
The difficulty of protecting his study group while attempting to finish his degree lends even more tension to his journey as he becomes embroiled in a bitter struggle for supremacy.
Study Group, a high school action-comedy based on the well-known webtoon of the same name, features Yoon Ga Min, a student whose innate fighting skills and aspirations for academic achievement clash with each other. He starts a study group at one of the most infamous high schools in the world and starts the ruthless process of getting ready for college entrance examinations.
