Ulajh, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha records dispiriting advance bookings at top 3 national chains

The two big releases this weekend are Ulajh, starring Janhvi Kapoor, and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn.

The thriller drama directed by Sudhanshu Saria could only sell 3,500 tickets, while the mature romantic thriller helmed by Neeraj Pandey ended its advance sales at 7,000 tickets in the top three national chains—PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha- Booking status

According to advance sales, Aurion Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which starred Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles, received a mediocre reception. Prior to its release, the makers had even announced incentives, but it appears that the public is awaiting the first reviews. It’s quite disappointing that the film ends its advance sales at 7,000 PIC tickets for an Ajay Devgn film. According to reports, Pen Marudhar’s intense love story will debut on 2000 screens in India.

The romantic-thriller currently hopes to open for between Rs 2 and Rs 3 crore.

Ulajh- Booking status

Janhvi Kapoor’s Ulajh failed to entice the viewers with its marketing tactics. The songs and promos for Ulajh did not generate much buzz, despite the positive reception the trailer had received. Up until the day before its premiere, Ulajh, which co-stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Matthew, Rajesh Tailang, and Meiyan Chang, sold 3500 tickets in the National PIC. It is also being released by Pen Marudhar, with an anticipated 750 screens in India.

Ulajh appears to be taking an opening for between Rs 75 lakhs and Rs 1 crore as of right now.
