Princess Hours, popularly referred to as Goong, is based on Park Soo Hee’s manhwa. The drama ran on television from January to March of that year.  In Princess Hours, a common girl discovers that she must wed the emotionless crown prince who attends her high school in accordance with her grandfather’s will.

Yoon Eun Hye

Yoon Eun Hye played Chae Gyeong, a no-nonsense, happy-go-lucky high school student who aspires to live a royal life. The actress began her professional career in 1999 when she joined the group Baby V.O.X. In 2005, she broke up with the group. She made her acting debut in the drama Let’s Go in 2002. She became well-known for playing the lead in the romantic comedy Princess Hours, which came out in 2006.

She costarred with Gong Yoo in the popular 2007 drama Coffee Prince after Princess Hours’ success. The drama gained popularity right away and is now regarded as a classic. Yoon Eun Hye portrayed the courageous and diligent Go Eun Chan, who poses as a man in order to get money.

A number of hits, including Missing You and My Fair Lady, featured Yoon Eun Hye as well. She last appeared in the drama Fluttering Warning (2018). She has appeared as a guest on TV shows throughout the years, and she regularly updates her Instagram account.

Ju Ji Hoon

In Princess Hours, Ju Ji Hoon portrayed the aloof and emotionless prince. He began his career as a model and debuted as an actor in 2006. In 2008, after Princess Hours, he made his big screen debut in the popular movie Antique Bakery.

The actor has contributed to numerous successful projects, including The Spy Gone North, Project Silence, the Kingdom series, and the Along with the Gods series. Blood Free, a science fiction drama, featured him recently.

In addition, he will be leading two dramas: The Trauma Code: Heroes on a Call, Love on a Single Log Bridge, and Along with the Gods 3 and 4.

Song Ji Hyo

In the Princess Hours, Song Ji Hyo portrays Min Hyo Rin. The actress debuted in the motion picture Whispering Corridors 3: Wishing Stars in 2003. Her first K-drama was Princess Hours. Song Ji Hyo became well-known in 2008 after appearing in the erotic historical drama A Frozen Flower.

She has performed in a number of dramas, including Jumong, Emergency Couple, My Wife is Having an Affair this Week, and The Witch’s Diner. In addition, the actress has acted in movies such as Unstoppable and New World. In the 2024 release of the film Meeting House, she is slated to play the lead role.

Song Ji Hyoi became well-known throughout the world after joining the cast of the hit variety show Running Man on a regular basis.

Kim Jeong Hoon

Princess Hours starred Kim Jeong Hoon as Yul, the dependable guy. Playing a young boy, the actor began his acting career in the drama The Three Day Promise in 1991. In 2004, he made his big screen debut in the movie Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). His big break came from the drama Promise in 2005.

He has experience working on dramas such as Love on Tiptoe and Late Night Restaurant.

Since 2015, the actor has taken a break from acting. However, he appeared as a guest in the Japanese drama Shinjuku Yasen Byoin in 2024. He was supposed to be the lead in the drama Unusual Men and Women, which is coming up soon.
