Axis Bank Uses Generative AI and GST Intelligence for Compliance

Axis Bank has introduced an AI-driven Digital Business Profile Update Service for Current Account customers, enabling businesses to update profile details through a fully digital and paperless process.

The service leverages Generative AI and real-time GST filing data to automatically predict and assign the most suitable occupation code from over 3,000 available options. Axis Bank said the move eliminates manual data entry, paperwork and branch visits while significantly improving accuracy.

The bank stated that processes which previously required extensive manual effort can now be completed instantly through GST-verified intelligence. The service is expected to reduce manual workload and operational errors while improving customer experience.
