Purnima Lamba, a global marketing and brand leader with nearly 25 years of experience at Unilever, has been appointed Chief Brand Officer at Mahindra Group.
The appointment will take effect from September 1, 2026.
At Mahindra, Lamba will lead the Group’s corporate brand and communications strategy, with a focus on strengthening brand salience across traditional and digital ecosystems while maintaining consistency across its businesses.

Lamba has worked across India, the UK and the Netherlands during her tenure at Unilever and is known for driving measurable business impact through consumer-centric strategies and digital innovation.
She also played a significant role in developing tech-enabled beauty experiences and pioneering digital media models.
An alumna of the London School of Economics and Political Science, Lamba holds both BSc and MSc degrees in Management.
